Like most girls, Sosen grew up loving fashion but never imagined it could be a career—it seemed too much fun to call that a job. After 18 years working as a dentist, she decided to pursue her true passion for fashion and founded B’Atelyer in 2024.

Sharing in the post-pandemic longing for human interaction and the tactile experience of shopping, she defied the trend of online-first ventures by opening a physical shop. She picked Camden Passage in Islington, known for its cobbled streets and old-world charm, a beloved spot for leisurely strolls and discovering hidden treasures.

Her boutique showcases a curated selection of European and Scandinavian brands which resonate with Sosen’s Swedish roots, blending functionality with chic design. The selection is constantly expanding as she is always on the lookout for unique and interesting additions to her collection.

Sosen most enjoys the buying process, sourcing new brands and interacting with her customers. She gets immense satisfaction when customers appreciate her selections, in particular when their faces light up trying things on that feel and look “just right.”
